Becoming a Member
Explorers Aviation Squadron is open to young adults 14 to 20 years of age or anyone interested in learning, teaching and exploring the field of aviation. Our post is supported by parents and professionals who dedicate their experience, actively participate in squadron events/activities and 3 hours every first and third Saturday of the month for ground school classes and the second and fourth saturday morning, for hands on the aircraft from 09:00am to 12:00pm. Our students learn safety-oriented activities associated with aviation. Some choose training in airplane mechanics. They learn all aspects of aviation, not just flying.
Annual membership dues are $10.00. Explorers aviation offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the exciting field of aviation, the sky is the limit.
